Bey far my easiest, quickest, bang for your buck tip is the following:
Take any old bottle of regular BBQ sauce:
Get a can of “Smoked Chipotle Chilies in Adobo Sauce”. You can find this in the Mexican section of your local supermarket.
Take 2 to 4 of the chilis from the can and dice or smash up to a nice paste.
Take about an inch to an inch and a half from a jar of dark molasses.
Blend the all the ingredients well and it’s ready to slather on your meat.
You should never but a tomato based sauce on your grilled meat until almost done or after removing from the grill.
This is best on pork spare ribs or baby back ribs, but also goes well with chicken, beef, or anything else you might grill.
